The Best Problem Ever: Blog Backlog

Lots of posts to come from my recent island adventure--and beyond. There may be one about the importance of using sunscreen.

Greetings Suitcase Scholar readers!  I wanted to write a quick post to let you all know what you will be learning and reading about in the coming months.  While I will be returning to work (boo) and thus traveling less frequently (hooray, shouts my mother), I have a serious backlog of posts planned.  And by serious backlog I mean right now I have 44 posts planned but not drafted and, to make matters worse, I’m traveling right now as well.  Thus, over the next several months, The Suitcase Scholar will be featuring posts on the following topics:

Can you believe I still have posts to write--and wine to drink--from my Napa trip three months ago?

-continued coverage of New Orleans, focusing mainly on dining

-continued coverage of D.C

-a few more Napa posts

-several posts exploring Montreal’s unique neighborhoods, dining experiences, and attractions

-a whole lot of cruising posts from my recent NCL cruise

-a variety of tips and hints for enjoying the lovely island of Bermuda

-a local piece or two, focusing on some lesser-known Delaware beaches

-a whole bunch of posts from my in-progress solo Cape Cod road trip

-even more of my typical ‘general travel posts’

-several ‘One Thousand Words’ posts featuring photos from my adventures

Of course, I’m sure you can add to the above ‘posts about places I don’t even know I’m going yet’.  Because while I am returning to work frighteningly soon, I still intend to find the time to travel.  They will be shorter trips–and possibly closer to home (with the marked exception of an overseas trip I’m sort-of planning for May) but there’s no way I’m unpacking my suitcase for good.  In fact, at this point I’m still living out of my travel toiletry bag–it is hanging from the shower curtain rod in my own bathroom, still packed and ready to come with me tomorrow.

Thanks for reading The Suitcase Scholar.  Come back soon and often–as you can see, you have much to look forward to!
