One More Disney Day, One More Disney Trip

Loyal Suitcase Scholar readers may have noticed that I’ve stopped writing about Walt Disney World.  This is not, however, because I’ve stopped visiting Disney–quite the contrary.  In fact, right now, I’m getting ready to board yet another plane bound for Orlando to spend nine days in Disney.  And one of those days is going to be a doozie.

We're on our way back to The World!

I’ve stopped writing Suitcase Scholar blog posts about Walt Disney World because I now have a dedicated Disney blog, which I started with my friend and travel buddy, Melissa Sue.  It’s called Mouse on the Mind and is dedicated to bringing you information on all things Disney, from touring plan tips to WDW restaurant reviews to Disney current events.  The trip I’m on now is mainly a research trip for this new blog (though of course it will also be a super-fun girls-only trip, too).

Our visit to WDW will include one very interesting day in Walt Disney World history–Leap Day, 2012.  Well after Melissa Sue and I planned and booked our trip, Disney announced its plans for One More Disney Day, which is a 24-hour celebration held in the Magic Kingdom on February 29th.  The park will be open from 6 a.m. until 6 a.m. on Leap Day, and Melissa Sue and I will be there meeting other Disney fanatics, live blogging, and trying to keep from blinking for too long.

So if you’re looking for a Mickey fix, head on over to Mouse on the Mind.  You’ll find daily updates on our whereabouts, regular almost-daily posts, as well as access to our super-awesome live blogging 24-hour event that you, too, can be a part of.  For more information, please visit Mouse on the Mind and click Leap Day 2012–or just follow that link I just provided for you.  Have a magical day!
